National Louis University Welcomes New and Returning Students to Tampa for a Successful on-campus residency Weekend

May 1–3 residency highlights the continued growth of the Doctor of Business Administration program and NLU's collaborative learning experience.

National Louis University (NLU) welcomed new and returning graduate students to its Tampa, Florida campus from May 1–3, 2026, for another successful on-campus residency weekend. The residency brought together professionals from across the United States and around the world, reinforcing NLU's commitment to delivering flexible, career-focused graduate education for working professionals and international students.

The weekend marked the beginning of the semester for many students while providing returning cohorts the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and faculty. From orientation and academic sessions to networking and collaborative learning, the residency showcased the unique executive format that has become a hallmark of the university's graduate programs.

A Strong Start for New Students

The weekend began Friday morning with a comprehensive new student orientation, introducing students to university resources, academic expectations, and SEVP regulations. This session helps ensure international students understand their responsibilities while preparing them for a successful academic journey.

Following orientation, students met faculty, connected with classmates, and began coursework designed to provide an early foundation for the semester ahead.

Throughout the weekend, students collaborated on projects, participated in classroom discussions, and built relationships with peers representing a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds.
