Increased Demand Driving New Arizona Intake
The addition of the Summer-2 intake reflects growing demand for DBA programs among international students seeking to advance their academic credentials while continuing to build professional experience.
As more students look beyond traditional master’s pathways, doctoral-level programs like the DBA are becoming an increasingly attractive option.
Why Consider a DBA?
A Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) offers students the opportunity to:
Progress academically beyond the master’s level
Strengthen leadership and executive-level business skills
Continue building professional experience alongside doctoral study
Position themselves for senior leadership, consulting, research, and entrepreneurial opportunities
Academic Progression and the D/S Conversation
With ongoing discussions surrounding proposed changes to Duration of Status (D/S) policies for F-1 students, international students are placing greater emphasis on long-term academic planning.
One key consideration is academic progression. Potential policy changes could increase scrutiny on students pursuing multiple programs at the same academic level, such as a second master’s degree.
As a result, many students are now exploring higher-level degree pathways—such as a DBA—that demonstrate clear academic advancement and align with evolving expectations.
